Junior Brand Manager

Cortina is an international family business that is active in the clothing and footwear industry. We specialize in developing private label and licensed shoes, as well as managing our own brands: Patrick, Safety Jogger, and SJ.

You might have already spotted one of these brands in television programs, at various festivals, or on the shoulders of the Soudal Quick-Step cyclists. Marketing and brand experience form the backbone of our business strategy. That's why we're looking for a junior brand manager who, in support of our marketing team and brand manager, wants to elevate our brands to unprecedented heights. What will your responsibilities be?
  • Creating smart marketing strategies to not only boost our brand's growth but also ensure long-term brand recognition.
  • Hunting for innovative ideas and tools to craft remarkable campaigns.
  • Deep diving into market research and conducting competitor analyses to better understand the market, our target audience, and sales channels.
  • You are the guardian of consistency: you ensure our brands are promoted in a uniform and targeted manner to both internal and external parties, reflecting our brand's core values in every message.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team and external partners to breathe life into creative campaigns that further disseminate and strengthen our brands.
  • Working closely with our PR agency to maximize our brand's presence, while optimizing our approach through clear KPIs.
  • Ensuring an unforgettable brand experience for B2B customers with appealing shop-in-shop presentations and eye-catching POS materials.
  • Acting as the gatekeeper of our showroom, presenting our brand in a state-of-the-art manner.
  • Handling media campaigns effortlessly, supporting our brand manager in creating top-tier visibility and conversion.
  • Contributing fresh insights to the marketing team as a team player and working on strengthening synergy between online and offline channels.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of our e-learning platform, ensuring knowledge is always within reach.
  • Proactively anticipating our brand needs and offering optimal support to our sales team.
Who are you?
  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar B2B role or within an international marketing team.
  • You're communicative with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • An initiator with a hands-on attitude and a no-nonsense approach.
  • You are comfortable with numbers and setting up KPI dashboards for project evaluation.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, always striving for quality.
  • You have an eye for detail. Consistency in storytelling is your goal.
  • You work both team-oriented and independently. Flexibility is a must.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • A go-getter who can convince internal stakeholders with well-founded arguments.
