Safety Jogger unveils MAXIMUS: three years in the making, its most advanced safety helmet yet

After three years of research and development, Safety Jogger introduces the MAXIMUS, its most advanced safety helmet to date. The helmet is designed for professionals who work in industrial environments and at heights, and combines two safety standards in a single product. At the same time, MAXIMUS introduces Energy Reduction Technology (ERT) to the Safety Jogger product line. With this move, the brand underscores its commitment to continued innovation in the field of professional head protection.
One helmet for every challenge
Until now, professionals working in both industrial environments and at heights often needed a different helmet for each task. MAXIMUS is changing that. Following the update to EN 397:2025, Safety Jogger MAXIMUS has become one of the first helmets certified to both EN 397:2025 Type II and EN 12492:2025.
Thanks to this dual certification, MAXIMUS is highly versatile: it’s suitable for construction, industrial maintenance, rope access work, rescue operations, and tree care. Professionals can switch between tasks seamlessly without having to change helmets.
Greater Protection with Energy Reduction Technology (ERT)
One of MAXIMUS’s key innovations is Energy Reduction Technology (ERT).
Traditional safety helmets primarily rely on a hard liner made of EPS foam (expanded polystyrene) to absorb impact energy. ERT adds soft, flexible polymer pads that help absorb both direct and rotational forces, even during lighter impacts.
Robust and customizable design
Weighing just 540 grams, MAXIMUS combines a fully ventilated design with a sturdy shell made of ABS and polycarbonate. A scratch-resistant coating keeps the helmet in shape, even with daily use in demanding work environments.
With a range of specially developed accessories, such as removable ear protectors, a face shield, front and rear lights, and a badge holder, users can customize MAXIMUS for any task. All accessories have been tested together with the helmet, ensuring that the entire setup functions safely as a single integrated, certified system.
Three years of development, one versatile solution
With MAXIMUS, Safety Jogger brings together advanced impact technology, dual certification, and practical versatility.
The launch reaffirms the company’s ongoing investment in innovation and its ambition to make advanced safety technologies accessible to professionals across a wide range of industries.
